At the age of 19 Daniel Wavrin found his passion in cheesemaking and has never looked backed since. He was taught old world traditional Italian cheesemaking skills by Raffaelle Mascolo a cheese casario from Naples and has since then he has perfected his cheese craft and is excited to share with you his personal cheese favorites.

Daniel has received awards for his cheese recipes through his family cheese company Ferndale Farmstead and has now ventured off to create his own personal cheesemakers line that focuses on purity and collaboration. He hopes to highlight some of Washington’s best flavors & producers.

Last year his first batch of Bonneville was recognized as a finalist among 2000 artisan products at the Good Foods Awards.
